MASCARO WINS $620,000 CONTRACT TO SERVE WYOMING BOROUGH

Wyoming Borough Council voted unanimously to award a three-year garbage contract to J.P. Mascaro & Sons waste hauling company. The contract covers removal of waste, bulk, recyclables and yard waste at a cost of $620,000.
This new service is provided by Mascaro's Wyoming Valley division, which employs about 120 personnel. This facility is the base operation for 50 collection vehicles, which serve seven counties, such as, Carbon, Luzerne, Lackawanna, Monroe, Columbia, Wayne and Pike counties. In those counties, 39 local municipalities, along with 10 school districts, benefit from well-organized daily collection services.
