J. P. MASCARO & SONS WINS ONE OF THE LARGEST PRIVATE COMMUNITIES IN THE POCONOS

A Pocono Country Place, located in Tobyhanna, PA, Monroe county is one of the largest private communities nestled in Pocono mountain area and has over 10,000 residents. Pocono Country Place Council members awarded a new five-year trash and recycling collection contract to J. P. Mascaro & Sons. The contract valued at approximately $3 million dollar will serve the trash removal and recycling needs of the community, commencing June 4, 2007. Mascaro's Sales Director, Sam Augustine said, "We are very excited to start working for this community, our goal is to provide only the highest level of service”. Mascaro’s local Nanticoke Division will perform the collection service.

J. P. Mascaro & Sons is a local company founded and headquartered in Lower Providence Township, Montgomery County, and is the largest privately owned waste company in the Northeast. The company was founded by Joseph P. Mascaro, Sr. and is operated by his five sons.
