J. P. MASCARO & SONS WINS $2.3 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT
J. P. Mascaro & Sons has won a municipal contract valued at $2.3 million to serve the trash removal needs of the community of Old Forge, Pennsylvania. Mascaro will provide weekly trash collection for approximately 3,000 households. The Mascaro’s local Nanticoke Division will serve the new contract.
The Mascaro Company headquartered in Lower Providence Township is the largest privately owned waste company in the Northeast. The company was founded by Joseph P. Mascaro, Sr. and is operated by his five sons. The company today has the benefit of emerging third generation of family members to guide the company into the future.
The Mascaro Company possesses a strategic infrastructure of recycling, transfer, compost and disposal facilities in the local region that has enabled them to be the major provider of municipal services in the area.
