MASCARO WINS $8.1 MILLION CONTRACT TO SERVE MUHLENBERG TOWNSHIP, BERKS COUNTY
Muhlenberg Township Council awarded an $8.1 Million dollar garbage, recycling and yard waste collection contract to local hauler, J. P. Mascaro & Sons. The contract covers the removal of garbage, recycling and yard waste for 6,600 households of Muhlenberg Township for up to a five year term.
These services will be provided by J. P. Mascaro's & Sons local Berks County division, which employs about 100 employees. This facility is the base operation for 50 collection vehicles, which serves primarily Berks, Chester, Montgomery and Schuylkill counties, which all benefit from well-organized daily collection services.
