J. P. MASCARO & SONS WINS 17 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT

J. P. Mascaro & Sons has won a 3-year contract valued at $17 million to serve the trash removal/recycling needs of the communities of Northampton, Upper Southampton and Lower Southampton. Mascaro will provide weekly trash collection and recycling services for approximately 24,000 households in Bucks county.

The Mascaro’s local Bridgeport Division will serve the contract. The Mascaro Company headquartered in Lower Providence Township is the largest privately owned waste company in the Northeast. The company was founded by Joseph P. Mascaro, Sr. and is operated by his five sons. The company today has the benefit of emerging third generation of family members to guide the company into the future.

The Mascaro Company possesses a strategic infrastructure of recycling, transfer, compost and disposal facilities in the local region that has enabled them to be the major provider of municipal services in the area.
