J.P. MASCARO & SONS WINS CONTRACT VALUED AT SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS TO SERVE FELL TOWNSHIP IN LACKAWANNA COUNTY

Solid waste hauling company, J.P. Mascaro & Sons has been awarded a new contract to service Fell Township in Lackawanna County. The contract covers removal of waste only for all residents at cost of six hundred thousand dollars for a three-year basis.

This new contract will be serviced by J.P. Mascaro's Wyoming Valley division, which employs about 120 personnel. This facility is the base operation for 50 collection vehicles, which serve seven counties, such as Carbon, Luzerne, Lackawanna, Monroe, Columbia, Wayne, and Pike counties. Thirty-nine local municipalities, along with ten school districts benefit from well-organized daily collection services.

The J. P. Mascaro & Sons Company possesses a strategic infrastructure of recycling, transfer, and disposal facilities in the local region that has enabled them to be the major provider of municipal services in the area.
