J. P. MASCARO & SONS AWARDED APROXIMATLEY $46.8 MILLION IN NEW MUNICIPAL BUSINESS

Local waste service provider, J.P. Mascaro & Sons, is experiencing record growth in the municipality contract sector of its business. In the last quarter of 2009, ten Pennsylvania municipalities awarded Mascaro waste collection, disposal and recycling contracts valued at approximately $46.8 million over the course of those contracts. Among the local communities awarding long-term contracts to Mascaro were the Boroughs of Trumbauersville, Swarthmore, Perkasie, Hellertown, and Bristol as well as the Townships of Whitemarsh, Whitehall, Exeter, Upper Pottsgrove, Warminster and Lower Providence.
